Codemasters and Deep Silver dropped DiRT Rally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today. The game was already out for PC users.
The console versions are bringing a number of new modes and features to the game. New Classic Mini and the Super 1600 series adds rallycross availability from the start of the game. There are also 21 new driving guides to help players tweak their performance.
A graveled Pikes Peak track ahs been added, along with three of Colin McRae’s liveries.
Codemasters and Deep Silver also added seven new cars to the game:
- Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
- Renault 5 Turbo
- Renault Alpine A110
- Opel Corsa Super 1600
- Peugeot 207 S1600
- Renault Clio S1600
- Mini Classic Rallycross
It appears that PC users who already have the game will get some of the new modes and the seven new cars for free. The old DLC and new DLC, however, is not free.
In a press release, Paul Coleman, chief games designer for Deep Silver said, “We’re delighted to be able to welcome PS4 and Xbox One players to the DiRT Rally community. We’ve been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm for the game our fans have shown us ever since we first revealed it and today marks the realization of our vision to bring the game to as many players as possible.”
DiRT Rally is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Steam for $59.99.
