On Monday, September 8, 2014, The JFF Madden NFL (PS4) Online League began their Fall 2014 season. We will spend the next two weeks offering a preview of each of the eight divisions.
This is the second of the eight division previews, and today, we examine the AFC West Division.
JFF Fall 2013 Regular Season record: 8-8-0 (1st in AFC West)
Last game played: Lost 27-24 to the JFF Tennessee Titans (JFF Fall 2013 AFC Wild-Card Playoff Game)
Owner / Coach: DMan / PSN: dman_of_God (1st season with Broncos)
General Comments:
DeMarrio G. a.k.a. “DMan” made a switch from the NFC Conference, where he led the JFF San Francisco 49ers to a 10-6-0 record and an appearance in the NFC Conference playoffs. The JFF Broncos are expected to finish no worse than 10-6-0 this season, and should be the frontrunner for the AFC West Division title.
Offensive Outlook:
Last season, QB Peyton Manning completed 329 out of 478 passes for 4,148 passing yards and 45 touchdowns. Manning was also guilty of throwing 35 interceptions. In addition, Manning had 13 rushing attempts for 44 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. HB Ronnie Hillman rushed 210 times for 1,123 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. Hillman also had 28 receptions for 267 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. WR Demaryius Thomas had 100 receptions for 1,267 yards and 10 touchdowns and WR Wes Walker finished the season with 60 receptions for 836 yards and 11 touchdowns. TE Julius Thomas completed the season with 55 receptions for 779 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns.
Defensive Outlook:
Right Defensive End Robert Ayers ended the Fall 2013 season with 10 sacks and 21 tackles (including 14 for a loss of yardage). Linebacker Von Miller finished the season with 11 sacks and 63 tackles (including 23 for a loss of yardage). Linebacker Shaun Phillips, who is no longer with the team, had 5 sacks, one interception, and 33 tackles (including 8 for a loss of yardage). CB Champ Bailey finished last season with 8 interceptions, and CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (no longer with the team) also finished with 7 interceptions, including 2 that were returned for touchdowns.

Last game played: Lost 22-3 to the JFF San Diego Chargers (JFF Fall 2013 Week #17)
Owner / Coach: Bob S. / PSN: Baseball_Buddha (1st season with Chiefs)
General Comments:
Bob S., a new Owner / Coach in The JFF Madden NFL (PS4) Online League, will take over the helm for the JFF Kansas City Chiefs. The JFF Chiefs are expected to challenge the JFF Broncos for the AFC West Division crown.
Offensive Outlook:
Last season, QB Alex Smith completed 191 out of 366 passes for 2,218 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. Smith was also guilty of throwing 19 interceptions. HB Marshawn Lynch, who is no longer with the team, rushed 238 times for 1,368 rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns. WR Desean Jackson, who is no longer with the team, had 54 receptions for 893 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. WR Braylon Edwards, who is also no longer with the team, finished with 46 receptions for 638 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns.
Defensive Outlook:
Linebacker Justin Houston registered 5 sacks and 56 tackles (including 12 for a loss of yardage). Linebacker Derrick Johnson had 3 sacks for the season and 4 interceptions. Johnson also accumulated 119 tackles (including 12 for a loss of yardage). Linebacker Tamba Hali finished the season with 6 sacks and 83 tackles (including 13 for a loss of yardage). CB Brandon Flowers, who is no longer with the team, had 4 interceptions including 1 returned for a touchdown. SS Kenny Phillips, who is also no longer with the team, finished with 1 sack and 4 interceptions.
JFF Fall 2013 Regular Season record: 2-14-0 (4th in NFC West)
Last game played: Lost 34-17 to the JFF Denver Broncos (JFF Fall 2013 Week #17)
Owner / Coach: Dennis Allen / EA Sports CPU (1st season with Raiders)
General Comments:
Similar to last season, no human Owner / Coach has purchased the ownership rights to the JFF Raiders, so until someone does, this team will be led by the CPU talents of Coach Dennis Allen.
Offensive Outlook:
Last season, QB Mark Flynn (who is no longer with the team) completed 147 out of 295 passes for 1,946 passing yards and 13 touchdowns. Flynn was also guilty of throwing 19 interceptions. HB Darren McFadden rushed 275 times for 1,247 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. McFadden was also guilty of fumbling the ball 5 times. WR Denarius Moore had 40 receptions for 833 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns, and WR Brice Butler finished with 46 receptions for 728 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns.
Defensive Outlook:
Left Defensive End Rob Ninkovich, who is no longer with the team, finished the Fall 2013 season with 4 sacks and 27 tackles (including 11 for a loss of yardage). Right Defensive End Lamar Houston, who is also no longer with the team, had 5 sacks and 46 tackles (including 12 for a loss of yardage). CB Mike Jenkins, who is no longer with the team, completed the Fall 2013 season with 4 interceptions (including one returned for a touchdown).

General Comments:
This season, no human Owner / Coach has purchased the ownership rights to the JFF Chargers, so until someone does, this team will be led by the CPU talents of Coach Mike McCoy.
Offensive Outlook:
During the Fall 2013 season, QB Philip Rivers completed 275 out of 466 passing yards for 3,510 yards and 20 touchdowns. Rivers also threw 29 interceptions. HB Danny Woodhead rushed 135 times for 633 yards and 4 rushing touchdowns, and HB Ryan Mathews rushed 162 times for 529 yards and 3 touchdowns. WR Malcom Floyd caught 66 passes for 984 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns. WR Da’Rick Rogers, who is no longer with the team, had 42 receptions for 672 yards and 6 touchdowns. TE Antonio Gates completed the season with 70 receptions for 705 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
Defensive Outlook:
Linebacker Melvin Ingram finished the Fall 2013 season with 14 sacks and 71 tackles (including 23 for a loss of yardage). Linebacker Dwight Freeney had 14 sacks and 54 tackles (including 16 for a loss of yardage). SS Joe (Lefeged) Young, who is no longer with the team, finished the season with 1 sack and 8 interceptions. FS Eric Weddle had 4 interceptions including 1 returned for a touchdown. CB Shareece Wright had 4 interceptions, including 1 returned for a touchdown.
